I have to admit, I am so intimidated by blogging because I feel like I just can't keep up! She is changing so much and I already feel behind!

The weekend of August 17-18, our great friends from Baltimore, Devon and Kyle Conklin, visited NYC and came over to meet Kate. Devon came over Friday afternoon and they came back together Saturday morning to have breakfast and hang out with our main attraction. We miss them so much and were so happy to see them, even though it seemed quick! They went to Baylor and always go back for Homecoming so I'm looking forward to seeing them again in Waco.

Another great friend of mine from Baltimore, Leslie Hall, visited NYC Labor Day weekend with her son Oliver. She was one of my closest friends at work and has a precious nine-year old son. They came to the apartment and hung out for several hours on Saturday and Monday afternoons. It was so great to see them, and I was so thankful for the company because Michael had to work all three days.
